Anum went to medical school at Duke University. She had an interest in imaging and spent a year studying radiation dose estimation and radiation safety. She also developed a passion for clinical cardiology and subsequently went to the University of Michigan for internal medicine residency. Here she studied CT reconstruction for transcatheter aortic valve replacement, as well as the incidence of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. She hopes to combine her interest in cardiac imaging with population studies in the future. In her free time she enjoys drawing, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
