This video, edited by Mouen Khashab, assistant professor of medicine and director of therapeutic endoscopy, demonstrates endoscopic gastrojejunostomay. EUS-guided gastrojejunostomy (EUS-GJ) is a novel procedure that entails creation of an anastomosis between the stomach and loop of jejunum distal to the obstruction. It provides the advantages of a surgical GJ while being minimally invasive. It is performed in the endoscopy unit under EUS and fluoroscopic guidance.
