Jena Miller, MD

Jena Miller, MD

Dr. Jena Miller is an assistant professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Her areas of clinical expertise include fetal interventions for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and treatment of other complications of monochorionic and high-risk pregnancies. 

Dr. Miller earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of North Florida and her M.D. from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital and performed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Miller joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2015.

Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she was assistant professor and director of the Fetal Care Center at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Miller’s research interests include treatment and management of gestational diabetes, fetal growth restriction, and discordant twins. 

She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves as a reviewer for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Miller has been recognized with several awards and honors, including the 2014 Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Excellence in Teaching Award.
